Logo refresh projects are, by far, my favorite, and this Longballer golf project perfectly illustrates that. Chris approached me, asking for a more graphic touch to his current script logotype design. The original logo was heading in the right direction, but it felt a little forced and not well-integrated. After extensive research, exploration, and tons of sketches, we created a refined script logotype with long, thin lines that mimic the thickness of golf clubs. The descender of the letter "g" is cleverly turned into an almost hidden golf club, seamlessly positioned along the bottom of the word "Longballer." Look closely, or you might miss it...

Nitty and Jay, the dynamic duo behind Home Base Smell Good Co., reached out to me with a burning desire (pun intended) for a logo makeover. As a small two-person team handcrafting candles right here in San Diego, they wanted a timeless monogram logo that would. A few years later their rebranded candles flickered their way into the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego's gift shop.
“At first he did not show us any designs that looked like our ideas but we loved them too! Like a true designer he saved the best for last, the flame logo with the H and B in it, which is our logo today. He did not make it easy for us to decide still because the other logos were great. Omar has great work ethic, goes above and beyond on his research to accomplish his goal. He made it look so easy, that’s what you get when you find a great graphic designer.”

Inspired by the incredible performances of our Mexican athletes across various sports in 2023, I decided to take a crack at reimagining the emblem of the Mexican National Football Team.

My design journey kickstarted with Gustavo, one of my inaugural clients. The task at hand was to bring "El Guzii," a vibrant and lively character design to life. By infusing elements of fun and playfulness into the rebranding, I was able to contribute to the channel's phenomenal growth. Today, the channel boasts over 5 million subscribers and the "El Guzii" character still remains a vital part of their branding strategy. The strength of the brand is a testament to the timeless design that still resonates with the audience today.
